The Free Association of Biogeographers (FAB) is an open society whose sole purpose is to deliver a successful diamond open access journal in biogeography. Our goal is to diversify the publishing options for biogeographers globally, to provide an affordable and equitable alternative from the journals of for-profit publishers that currently dominate the discipline.

We will convene no conferences, levy no dues, and provide no member services other than the journal.
